This is a lovely set of two cased German WWII Civil Service Faithful Service medals, a 2nd Class in Silver for 25 years and a 1st Class in Gold for 40 years. These medals were created to award long service to the country, and like many NSDAP awards recognized service rom long before the NSDAP takeover in 1933. Both awards are in great shape, with the original wash well retained on the medal, and the enamel
