2024 Pheasant's Tears Vardisperi Rkatsiteli Beaujolais with notes of stone fruitsDried flowers, rooibos tea, crunchy berries, and a salty, ocean like finish gorgeous pink copper color, more amber wine than ros. Vardisperi is a rare pink skinned mutation of Rkatsiteli that was nearly extinct before Pheasant's Tears helped revive it. Hand harvested, three weeks skin maceration, fermented and aged in buried qvevri clay vessels some up to 200 years old. Organically farmed, no fining, no filtering, near zero sulfur. Founded by John
