Quartz is white. Dimensions 115 mm x 90 mm x 9 mm thick. Weighs 201 grams This stone occurs in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. It occurs as a single vein, no thicker than 250mm that cross cuts the Weeli Wolli formation, a banded iron formation, (commonly jaspilitic) which is also intruded by metadoleritic sills. The quartz
