But it is far from easy to photograph here - it is a busy highway and the only time it can be closed down for filming tends to be early on a Sunday morning
when I took this photograph sometime before 6 am in remote Alaska
there was one image from the filming in 1939 that popped up on my screen time and time again - the stagecoach moving right to left with the unmistakable monoliths of Monument Valley in the background
and very close together
