Its fruits have sweet tart ruby red skin with sweet and mellow yellow orange flesh that is good fresh or used for cooking. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well drained soils. Bruce only requires 500 chill hours, has excellent drought tolerance, and good disease resistance.
