Based on the subject, style, paper and the frame it came in, we think it is from the early years of the 20th century. Haystacks in a field, woodland in the distance, a brooding sky. It's a late summer landscape, or harvest time. Beause of the shape of the haystacks, were unsure whether this is in Ireland. Iit could be a France, Belgium or Northern Germany.
