This is an original stone lithographic printing block (extremely heavy) used to print in a French magazine and probably dating from the late 1800s/early 1900s

It is signed but the way the date is written looks more contemporary

Just as gorgeous displayed on a sideboard with other interesting boxes and cabinets or even as a mini plant holder

and a leather handle with lovely stitching as well

with just teeny areas on the surface where the gilt has come off the tray but this does not detract from the beauty of it
