Big Flower Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 Rye orange marmalade and candied citrusA varietal Cabernet Sauvignon made by Ginny Povall in the Stellenbosch, just west of Cape Town. The grapes are from the Protea Hights farm which began life in the 1940's as a farm for South Africa's national flower, the protea flower. Now under Ginny Povall's ownership, the farm is a mix of indigenous flowers and organic grapes. The wine itself is made by destemming the grapes before the crush which are then fremented in open top tanks with twice
