Niepoort 20 Year Tawny Red Aged 18 months in JDNiepoort's story begins in 1842 when Dutchman Eduard Kebe established the firm in the famed Douro wine making region of Portugal. When he passed away in 1848, the business was left in the capable hands of his business partner, F. M. Van der Niepoort. Over 150 years later as the 5th generation to do so, Dirk Niepoort continues to make fortified wines using the same methods as his ancestors. Dirk is a true Renaissance man, effortlessly embracing the
