Out from our Nepal Palace purchase of 2003, this is a spectacular example of this scarce British East India Company . 75" Short Musket issued in 1846 54. This Short Musket was made in England, and is marked faintly with CROWN GR on the barrel. It also is marked with the CROWN V mark, indicating it was viewed at the proof house. Just in front of the cap bolster there is another marking, but we cannot decipher it. The lock
