This is a very nice classic Lionhead German WWII Army Officers sword, made by the well known firm of F. W. Hller, Waffenfabrik, of Solingen, Germany, complete with its original black enameled steel scabbard. The hilt on this example is the classic gilt brass alloy, not the later war plated aluminum. Unlike most we see, the original gilding is still retained over much of the hilt, particularly in the recesses of the
