Germany, Hj. A Hochland/Deutsche Österreich Summer Cap Hold each with two sheets of(HJ Sommermtze). A very well preserved HJ summer cap, constructed of light brown cotton. The cap is fully surrounded by decorative scalloped side panels, trimmed by red piping and secured in place by a row of machine stitching. Stitched onto the left side of the cap is an insignia in the form of a gilded and silvered edelweiss, measuring 52 mm (w) x 28 mm (h). The edelweiss is indicative of either Hochland or Deutsche sterreich HJ units. The interior
