Constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, consisting of an oak leaf wreath, with a central DSV eagle overlaid by a mobile swastika perched on top of a square target with an inscription of D. SCH. V., on a double hanger with a green enameled clasp bearing crossed rifles on top of a target, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), some chipping of the enamels
