An 1849 Merit Cross And Military Merit Medal GTRexclude but only the latter twoAn 1849 Merit Cross, Type III, Civil Division, I Class Cross with Crown, bronze gilt with red enamel arms, the obverse medallion features the initials FJ, the reverse with the year 1849, the cross is surmounted by a crown with a red interior cap, marked on ring, measures 36. 9mm (w) x 59. 5mm (h inclusive of cross adorned crown suspension), the reverse medallion has been re enamelled, missing enamels in the cap, worn on replacement ribbon, in near
