Artist's note: Moonlight on umbrellas through my window Recently I painted a series of rain inspired pens, all of them fairly pictorial. But actually, I think one of the best things about rain is how it makes the world feel less hard edged and literal, less pictorial, and instead make it fuzzy and glowy and surreal. This time, I tried to
