Allium keeverae Rocky Face Bosnia and Herzegovina This amazing tetraploid daylily bloomsAllium keeverae is a very rare, imperiled Southeast US native onion (G2 rank), which can only be found growing in calcitic seepages on granite domes on two Western NC counties. Formerly considered a variety of Allium cuthbertii, Allium keeverae was subsequently found to constitute a separate species. In May, the 15" tall clumps are topped with small clusters of light pink flowers. Our plants have thrived in our crevice garden, but when given moisture
