This is a sleeper, totally untouched since coming out of more than 100 years in storage. Wiped over, not cleaned and not restored. This is an original M 1860 U. S. Cavalry Saber from the Civil War clearly marked on the blade: C. ROBY, W. CHELMSFORD, MASS. On opposite side of the 35" curved blade it is marked U. S. 1865 A. G. M. A. G. M are the government inspector's initials. The three bar brass hilt guard has a leather bound
