Constructed of silvered tombak with gilt and enamels, the obverse consisting of an eight pointed starburst, bearing a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a gilded and leftward facing Bengal tiger, surrounded by a ring of white enamel bearing a gilt inscription of AZAD HIND join by clusters of green enameled laurel leaves, the reverse topped by an integral loop with a suspension
