This is a very nice example of an Early American powder horn with a bulbous throat. The bottom of the horn has four crude nails holding the wooden butt in place. This is a very well used horn. There is a period leather strap attached to the throat and butt. The horn has great color which has worn heavily over time. The horn is roughly 13 long. A very nice horn from Early America.
