Description
I spun a 2-ply skein using two Jazz batts as shown in the second photo
and navy blue
using the stained glass as his inspiration
This is a Splashed and Speckled colorway that goes beautifully with many of my tonal yarns too
I dyed this on Twinkle Fingering
MONET'S WATER LILIES Hand Dyed on So Silky Fingering - Assigned Pooling Yarn feb20 I spun a 2-ply skeinMonet's Water Lilies was inspired by Monet's amazing series of oil paintings by the same name. The colors include multiple shades of blue and green. This time I dyed it as an assigned pooling colorway with Lilac at one end as the assigned pooling color. YARN BASE I dyed it on So Silky Fingering, which is made of half superwash merino and half mulberry silk. It's a wonderful yarn base for everything from shawls to socks to warp or weft for weaving.
