Original French WWI Model 1870 Enlisted Trooper’s Cuirassier Helmet with Tri-Color Plume MG 34 Reciever Assembly This was part of theOriginal Item: Only One Available. A fine absolutely untouched example of a WWI period Model 1870 French Cuirassier Enlisted Troopers Helmet which just came out of an attic after decades of being forgotten! The helmet consists of a steel body with brass fittings, and a rare French TRI COLOR feather plume! It was originally fitted with a horsehair tail, however now only "stubble" is left, either because the hair broke off, or was removed at some point.
