An Artillery Shell Visor Cap Desk Ornament Auction Archive interlaced with black threading givingIn solid brass, a German made artillery shell, base marked POLTE MAGDEBURG APRIL 1900, turned into a Visor cap with copper band and Canada cap badge featuring a central crown. The interior is plain with rivets for exterior attachments. The ornament measures 120 mm (w) x 123 mm (l) x 60 mm (h), light wear and contact marks throughout, badge slightly loose, very fine.
