Aftab works in the ancient Rajasthani dabu print technique to craft a beautiful shawl. Printing blocks are dipped in a mixture of mud, which is stamped onto the cloth to create the motifs. When dry, the fabric is dipped in a bath of indigo dye, thus dabu is known as a mud resist print. Because of their handcrafted nature, no two dabu prints are ever identical.
