Germany, Third Reich. An Olympics Commemorative Medal, With Case Archive "A" silver hallmarked(Deutsche Olympia Erinnerungsmedaille mit Etui). Instituted 31 July 1936. (1936 1937 issue). Constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by a date of 1936, on top of a column topped by Olympic rings, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of FR VERDIENSTVOLLE MITARBEIT BEI DEN
