This is most unusual, in fact we've never seen one before. This is an original Other Ranks or N. C. O.'s Blue Cloth Helmet with Brass Ball top and two positions for storing the brass chained chin strap. For storage, as shown the chin strap lies across the front brow cover of the helmet however for use the chin strap is secured to brass hook hangers on the helmet's interior by the leather heads band. Differing from an Officer's
