A silver gilt and white enamel double cross with gilt leaves in each quadrant forming a wreath, the obverse medallion features the left facing bust of Andrej Hlinka in silver gilt, the reverse medallion features the inscription VERNI SEBE SVORNE NAPRED (Faithful to ourselves, united forward), measures 47. 9mm (w) x 53. 4mm (h inclusive of integral loop), weighs 28. 8 grams, marked 987 for silver
