Original Mexican American War Era Cutlass with Leather Scabbard and Saddle Strap Brown Bess Muskets Shortly after take-off on ourOriginal Item: Only One Available. Made very much in the U. S. Style, this is a Mexican produced cutlass, as used during the Mexican American war, which lasted April 25, 1846 until February 2, 1848. It looks a lot like U. S. edged weapons produced circa 1822, but the thumb piece on the grip is distinctively Mexican. It comes with a very nice scabbard, though it definitely looks to be of later manufacture. Overall condition is very good, with some
