Gothic Sconce #1 Stoneware (Butterfly and Pear) Shipturtle An Oriental accent in aStoneware candle sconce, created by using hand rolled slabs of clay. Suitable to hang on the wall or stand on a flat surface. Bisque fired once when dry, signed, waxed and coated in a glossy transparent glaze. The piece is then placed back in the kiln for its 1230 degree centigrade glaze firing. Transfers of Paige's sketchbook line drawings are then cut and individually placed onto the piece and smoothed into place. The sconce is then put back into
