This is a lovely cased example of a WWII Iron Cross First Class 1939, with a Magnetic core, flat design, and later straight pin attachment. It is maker marked on the underside of the pin by the hinge with Prsidialkanzlei des Fhrers Lieferant (Presidential Chancellery Supplier) number 20, which represents C. F. Zimmermann of Pforzheim. There also looks like there may be an "L 52" marking closer to the hinge, the LDO
