This is a very nice condition Silver Grade General Assault Badge with a Solid Back and straight pin attachment. The badge measures approximately 2 1 8" x 1 5 8", and is in very good condition, with a functional pinback. It is an early war variety, constructed from tombak alloy (somewhat similar to brass) with a silver wash. This example still retains about 50% of the original wash on the front. showing the tombak
