Instituted 6 April 1937 by Duke Carl Eduard of Saxe Coburg and Gotha. (1937 1939 issue). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original bow tie ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with red enameled arms joined together by a white enameled ring, overlaid by a central DRK style black enameled German national
