The leather tab is in excellent condition and nicely maker stamped inside a small shield design with:
Pionier (Pioneers) and most other units
as well as the PISTOL PETE marking on the underside of the barrel
as the crates were not deemed expendable items
but were not made by Sharps (or at least they are not marked by Sharps)
