United States. A 1914 Mills Pistol Belt United Republic of (Tamgha-e-Istiqlal)A khaki canvas belt with sets of three grommetted holes throughout the length, a single keeper and curved snap buckle. One end has been engraved with the patent information denoting MILLS PAT. JAN. 29 1901, with stamp MILLS 1914 below, and the other side of the medal hanger engraved MADE BY MILLS WOVEN CARTRIDGE BELT CO. WORCESTER. MASS. U. S. A.. The belt measures 93 cm (l) x 6 cm (w), light wear, functional clasp, grommets intact, very fine.
