He was a bandit who stole from the wealthy but kept none of his fortune, which he shared with those most in need. Many called him the angel of the poor and the generous bandit. On May 3rd 1909, Jesus Juarez Mazo was brought to trial and sentenced to death by hanging. Malverde didnt receive a proper burial and was left to disintegrate. Many dropped a stone at the feet of his corpse. Eventually, the
