This is the outstanding ephemera grouping of Prisoner of War Staff Sergeant James Irving Quillin, 508th Bombardment Group, 351st Bombardment Group, whose B 17 Flying Fortress was shot down on October 9th, 1943. Quillin was taken as a German Prisoner of War, and spent very long in captivity at Stalag Luft 3.
