Description
The obverse of the Order illustrates an eight-rayed sun
with the beginning of November 1902 having him transferring to the Corps of Lancers of the Line and posted to the 9th Lancers
which was followed by his completion of three years of Civil Engineering at the University of Manitoba but he was unable to complete his degree as he ran into financial difficulties
