The plating shows a small amount of patina, with very little wear to the edge areas. The Red Cross langet has a very fine depiction of a raised half closed winged eagle having a vaulted swas on his breast. The eagle clutches a red cross in his talons. The cover screw on top of the pommel has not been removed and is still totally corps and tight.
