Germany, Imperial. A Wound Badge, Gold Grade, Cut Out Version Newly Listed and Lac Noir (bronze gilt(Verwundetenabzeichen in Gold). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, with an illegible handwritten inscription, measuring 39. 76 mm (w) x 44. 35 mm (h), weighing 7. 0 grams, in extremely fine condition.
