A 167Th Infantry Battalion "Canadiens Français" Cap Badge, C.1916 Newly Listed hallmarked with an anchor (madeIn pickled copper, voided, maker marked "CARON FRERES MONTREAL 1916" on the reverse, measuring 36. 5 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), both lugs intact, very light contact on the "167" designation, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Quebec, with mobilization headquarters at Quebec City under the authority of G. O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion was formed under the command of Lieutenant Colonel O. Readman and re designated the Quebec
