Original German WWII Red Cross Hewer P-1853 Enfield hence the M28Original Item: Only One Available. This Red Cross Enlisted Man's Hewer is a nice solid example. The hilt mounts have 80% of the fine original nickel plated surfaces and only shows minor use and age; it is nice to see a hewer with this kind of preservation to the hilt as the base metal is pot metal and often the plating did not hold up well.
