Original British 20th Century Scots Guards Bearskin Helmet with Chin Scales - Size 7 Japanese Holsters 600 of during the warOriginal Item: Only One Available. The Scots Guards are best known for being on parade around Buckingham Palace. Raised in 1642 by King Charles I and fully recognized in 1686 this is one of the oldest regiments in the British Army. The units are easily recognizable by the large bearskin helmets that they wear, and this is a really nice example. It most likely dates from the 1960s 1970s, and has the standard wicker basket inside supporting the bear
