The medal presented here was issued to commemorate the voyage of the cruise ship "Robert Ley" to Norway

Of two piece construction; scarce version constructed of silvered aluminum; the wreath with laurel leaves towards the left side side, and oak leaves towards the right side of the wreath, separated by three small ribbon like loops on the bottom, with a large patinated aluminum eagle with spread out wings superimposed on the badge, clutching a swastika in its talons; two rivets on the reverse; vertical needle style pinback
