Standardized in December 1942, it mated with all styles of cargo containers including the A 4 and A 5, seeing extensive use in all major airborne and resupply operations. The pack encapsulated the 24 rayon canopy and facilitated loads up to 300 pounds. The pack is in wonderful condition though it does not have any visible identification
