Camellia japonica 'Lipstick', Japanese Camellia scant water This is apparently a serendipitousBright, deep red flowering camellia with an upright and slightly arching habit. Faster growing than our other favorite red, 'Night Rider', but less compact. Prefers a lightly shaded site with some summer water. Camellias can take full shade or more sun, but too much exposure can lead to winter damage or summer stress, and too much shade will lead to fewer blooms. Mature size: 5 ft T x W Minimum temperature: 0 F
