much effort had to be made to rebuild the regiment to its previous standard

Saxe-Altenburg, Duchy. A Bravery Medal, Bronze Grade Auction Archive Bartelsdorf Shooting Club Medal 1932-1933(Tapferkeitsmedaille in Bronze). Instituted 20 February 1915 by Duke Ernst II. (1915 1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised Cross Patte, bearing a central Saxon coat of arms, flanked by a date of 1914 and topped by a royal crown, the reverse with a monogram of Duke Ernst II, unmarked, measuring 31. 03 mm in diameter, weighing 12. 7 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near
