Found in open boggy soils and meadows, grass pink emerges in March (south) and July (north) with bunny ear shaped leaves. On a short stalk atop the leaves are up to 24 small pink flowers that open progressively over a series of weeks starting in June (NC). Plant grass pinks near a path where they can be appreciated.
