Amorphophallus operculatus Europe The palmate-leaved (looks like a(aka: Amorphophallus operculatus AGA 1065) This Mary Sizemore discovery from Thailand was named and published by Amorphophallus guru Wilbert Hetterscheid in 2003. From a thin, branching tuber that resembles ginseng arises the 1' tall petiole. The narrowly cut, rich, velvety, olive green leaves unfurl with a strong reddish cast, especially dark along the leaf edges. The white spathe and spadix are mounted atop 1' tall reddish stalks and, while
