Constructed of blackened magnetic metal, on a fixed loop and ring for suspension from replacement ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of Peter Friedrich Ludwig, circumscribed by the inscription Ein Gott, Ein Recht, Eine Wahrheit (One God, One Truth, One Righteousness) in capital lettering, the reverse
