Constructed of silvered tombak, obverse depicts a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) bearing a mobile swastika on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field with laurel branch wreath, marked on reverse with 65 for maker Klein & Quenzer, Idar Oberstein, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, measuring 37. 14 mm (w) x 44. 28, weighing 30. 1 grams, in very fine condition.
