The first document states that Obergefreiter (Senior Lance Corporal) Robert Grlitz of the 10th Battery of Flak Regiment 38 was awarded the Eastern Front Medal on August 10, 1942. It is signed in blue ink by Lieutenant Colonel and Commander of Flak Regiment 99, Werner Siegfried.
